French Country Inspirations

It's nice to have a jumping point when decorating your home, then add your own touches.
Your home should be your sanctuary, a place where your surrounded by what makes you happy.

French Country Farmhouse inspired Kitchen Decor

I've fallen in love with the muted French Country Farmhouse look!
I found these chunky candlesticks at a local flea market for less than $8, they were a ugly 1970's brown to begin with so I lightly sanded them, gave them a coat of white chalk paint, distressed them, and finished them with wax.
I had a piece of scrap wood and made the Eat, Pray, Love, Sign. (By the way... eat, pray, love is on my list of must reads!) I bought topiary balls from Tai pan trading and the rest is repurposed decor I had in storage.

Wow! I thought lost this little blog!

It's been a bumpy road, many projects, and several years since I started this little blog. I will catch up with some pictures that will come soon. Let's see if we can get this little lost blog started again! We'll start with my cozy Christmas decor, and go from there!
